To invest with Deed, you’ll need to complete a quick identity verification process. This isn’t just a formality, it’s a legal requirement and a core part of keeping your investments secure.

Here's why KYC is mandatory:

1. We’re regulated.

Deed is based in the DIFC and regulated by the DFSA (Dubai Financial Services Authority). This means we must follow strict financial regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) rules.

2. It protects you.

Verifying your identity helps ensure that only you can access your account and investments. It also reduces the risk of fraud, identity theft, or unauthorized activity.

3. It enables your investment.

Without completing KYC, we legally can’t allow you to invest. It’s a one-time process, once approved, you’ll get full access to the platform.

What documents do I need?

  • Passport (must be valid and in your name)

  • Selfie (a quick real-time face scan for security)

  • Proof of address (such as a bank statement or utility bill)

These documents are verified through Sumsub, a global compliance provider trusted by financial institutions and fintech platforms worldwide.

Your information is handled securely and never shared outside the verification process.
